Police have re-bailed a man who was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving after two cyclists died in a crash near a Norfolk pub.

Two men in their 30s riding electric bikes died at the scene of the collision involving a red Mini Cooper on the A143 Bungay Road in Billingford, near Diss on August 27.

It was near the Billingford Horseshoes pub.

A man in his 40s was arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and released on bail.

Police have now extended that bail until February 27.

The incident led to calls for a safety review of the speed limit on the road.
