From Take That to Sundown, these are the huge concerts and festivals announced for Norfolk in 2024 so far.

1. Take That, Carrow Road 

When: May 28 

Take That, consisting of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, are returning to Norwich in 2024 after sell-out concerts at Carrow Road Stadium in 2017 and 2019.

This Life on Tour follows the release of their ninth album This Life, which came out in November 2023, and the show will feature special guest Olly Murs.

2. Bryan Adams, Thetford Forest

When: June 20 

Canadian rock legend Bryan Adams will kick off the Forest Live outdoor concert series in Thetford Forest, on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, in style. 

He is one of the most successful recording artists of all time and he will play some of the biggest hits of his career, such as Everything I Do (I Do It For You), Heaven and Summer of '69.

3. Sting, Thetford Forest

When: June 22

Sting is bringing his My Songs tour to Thetford Forest and it will feature his best-loved songs from his illustrious career with The Police and as a solo artist.

He will be accompanied by an electric rock ensemble and the hits will include 'Englishman In New York', 'Every Breath You Take', 'Roxanne' and 'Message In A Bottle'.

4. Tom Jones, Thetford Forest

When: June 28

The following week, Sir Tom Jones is heading to the green, green grass of High Lodge for a concert featuring songs from across his career, which spans more than 50 years.

Special guest Gabrielle will also perform on the night, who had the number-one singles Dreams and Rise.

5. Houghton Festival, Houghton Hall Estate

When: August 8-11

This popular festival attracts electronic music fans from across the UK to the stunning grounds of Houghton Hall, near Fakenham. 

Founded by DJ Craig Richards, the event promises a "celebration of music and art in the Norfolk countryside" and tickets are available now.

6. Sundown Festival, Norfolk Showground 

When: August 30-September 1 

Sundown is Norfolk's biggest music festival and it brings chart-topping acts and top DJs to the venue on the outskirts of Norwich.

While the 2024 line-up is yet to be announced, there is exciting news as a second Sundown event will take place in Malta next year.

7. Foodies Festival, Earlham Park 

When: September 6-8 

The touring Foodies Festival returns to Earlham Park in Norwich by popular demand and it will once again feature top chefs and popstars. 

The music headliners for Friday and Sunday have been announced as Symphonic Ibiza and pop group Scouting for Girls, respectively.
