A group which offers therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults is to receive a £4,500 boost thanks to a village’s live music event.

The Bressingham Band Night, which has been running for six years, raised the money for Nature and Nurture Therapeutic Services, which offers one-to-one-support, group therapy, residential retreats and more.

Lou Hines, the event’s organiser and promoter, said this year’s band night - held on October 7 at Bressingham Steam Museum, was a great success.

He said: “The bands play free of charge and JJ Goodwin provides the sound equipment, lighting and his talent as sound engineer to make the magic happen.

“The people who attend band night are so generous and achieving more than £4,500 for charity is a truly wonderful thing. My heartfelt thanks go you everyone who contributed and they know that young people locally will benefit from their generosity.”
