Police officers were called to calm down a fracas in a town centre.

Onlookers watched as a group of people could heard arguing at the picturesque Diss Mere at around 2.30pm today (Thursday, May 18)

After much shouting and swearing a police car with officers arrived to make the peace, with row abating shortly afterwards.

The police car left at around 2.45pm, with no arrests having been made.
