Following last week’s snowy spell, many have been left wondering whether or not the county would be struck by more wintry weather.

Finally it appears we have an answer.

Experts believe Norfolk will see more snow this weekend as light sleet/snow flurries are being predicted for the early hours of Friday, December 8.

Meteorologist Dan Holley said the flurries “might give a local dusting”.

He added that isolated wintry showers would continue through Friday and into Saturday.

More snow may be seen in Norfolk on Sunday, but according to Mr Holley it is too soon to tell.

“A lot of uncertainty for Sunday, potential for a spell of rain preceded by sleet/snow, too early for details yet,” he said.

Forecasts for Thursday, December 7 include some rain (3-6mm) and winds of 40-45mph.

Weatherquest forecaster Richard Jones added: “Thursday will start off mild with a high of 10C in the morning, but that will drop off significantly in the afternoon as a northwesterly wind picks up.

“There’s risk of snow and wintry showers, particularly along the North Norfolk coast.”
