The Swan Nursery School in Roydon hosted a Tots Tennis session for it’s budding Wimbledon stars.

Hosted by Emily Wharton, the head coach from Wortham Tennis Club, the children had a ‘smashing’ time trying out their racket skills while playing a variety of introductory tennis games.

Michelle Bowgen who runs the Swan Nursery is a tennis player herself and was keen to bring something different to the children’s outdoor playtime.

She said: “I knew the children would love playing some activity games with tennis balls and rackets and Emily was brilliant at making the morning great fun for everyone”
