A teenager was arrested last night after being found in possession of a “substantial” amount of cannabis with a street value of £170.

The 18-year-old man was in a vehicle on Long Meadow Drive in Diss when he was stopped by police and searched.

In his possession officers found 17g of cannabis, a weighing scales, cash and individual snap bags.

South Norfolk community engagement officer Pc Jim Squires said: “This is a substantial amount of cannabis to have in his possession.”

The man was arrested for possession with intent to supply and taken to a South Norfolk police station.
