The owners of a south Norfolk smallholding and local food business will be staging an open day at the weekend.

Tibenham residents Karen and Jeff Nethercott, who own Samphire, will open their doors to the public on Sunday, July 15.

The food market will have a number of new attendees including Crush Foods with their rapeseed oil, cakes from Debbie MacEke of Great Moulton and Chillis Galore with their popular chilli relishes. Humpty Dumpty brewery will also be coming and will be selling their beer by the glass as well as in bottles to take away. There will also be bee keepers, herbalists, photographers, basket makers, plant stalls and many food producers selling local produce.

Little Hen Rescue is coming along with a few ex-battery hens.

Mrs Nethercott will be giving tours to see the rare breed pigs and sheep and will explain how they are reared on the farm.

Entrance is £2.50 per adult and children get in for free. Part of the proceeds from the gate will be donated to Tibenham Church and the Tibenham Community Hall to help with local projects.
