Titchwell Manor, a former Victorian farmhouse now a boutique and now fine dining destination at Brancaster, was named in the hotel category of the awards run by Visit England.

Owned by Margaret and Ian Snaith since 1988, the hotel is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

At the other end of the size scale, Pansthorne B&B, in converted farm buildings at South Lopham, near Diss, was recognised in the guest accommodation category.

The ROSE Awards recognise the owners, management and employees of establishments that go above and beyond, making customers’ experiences special, irrespective of star rating, style or accommodation type.

Visit England director Patricia Yates said: “It is the human touch that these people provide that make visitors’ experiences memorable, ensuring repeat business and helping the industry thrive.”
