Wymondham’s Encore singers will perform a special Christmas show at Wymondham Abbey next month.

The show will be based on A Christmas Carol, with a variety of seasonal songs thrown in the mix.

The group are promising something a little different to the traditional Christmas concert and are planning on delivering a show that will entertain both young and old.

Angie McDonald, Encore committee member, said: “We’re steering clear of the word ‘concert’ this year, as it is not just going to be singing. We hope the show will get everyone in the festive spirit.”

Last year, more than 200 people attended the Encore singers Christmas performance.

The show is at 7.30pm on Saturday December 9 at Wymondham Abbey. Tickets are £7 on the door and U16s go free.

Alternatively, tickets can be purchased in advance from George R Reeves gift shop in Market Street, Wymondham.
