Mulbarton’s Tristan Cliffe went to Brands Hatch knowing that his F3 Cup championship rival Toby Sowery could clinch the title if he won both races and picked up bonus points for fastest lap. The full Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch is Tristan’s favourite venue so he was hopeful of a good result.

Captain turns on the style at Diss

Saturday saw a competitive field of 80 take part in Diss Golf Club’s Hillside Classic, a mixed singles Stableford. The event, sponsored by Hillside Office Supplies, was played in fine but windy conditions with 12 players beating the par for the course, a higher than average result.
