Seven-a-side league seeks new teams

A women’s seven-a-side league is looking for teams for the coming season, which starts in September.

Fixtures for the Norfolk Women’s and Girls’ Football League sevens division are on Sundays, but not every weekend.

Games are played on grass, using mini soccer rules.

There is also a cup competition at the end of the season, in April.

Players must be aged 16 or above.

DISS TIGERS U10 started slowly and soon found themselves a goal behind. This sparked a reshuffle, Joe Collett went right to snuff out their danger man whilst Aaron Noller moved upfront where he immediately found himself coming close on 3 occasions. Diss were on level terms when Collett and Olly Budd won the ball back in the Mattishall half, Budd fed Noller whose vision found Charlie Norman on the edge of the area. His first time shot finding the back of the net.
