The vibrant spontaneity of an Afro-Peruvian creole party comes to Diss Corn Hall on Friday, June 8, at 8pm.

Malambo performs uplifting Música Criolla from the Peruvian coastal regions. Fusing Cuban habanera, Brazilian bossa nova, Argentine tango, Andean vibes and Mexican boleros, the result is sultry, smooth and sumptuous.

Singer Juanita Euka, niece of the late great Congolese musician Franco Luambo, was born in Spain and raised in Buenos Aires. With her powerful voice and commanding presence she has already earned a formidable reputation singing with Afro-Cuban band WARA.

This will fill up your summer evening with infectious rhythms to get everyone dancing.
