Thrill-seeking children will be able to get their adrenaline fix when a south Norfolk play centre installs a high ropes course later this year.

Hulabaloos, based in London Road, Suton, near Wymondham, will offer sky-high excitement with a new trail which is due to launch in October.

The new Sky Trail, suspended 20 feet in the air, will include crossing rope bridges, lily pad steps and tight ropes.

Derek Gill and his wife, Tracey, opened the children's play centre in February 2012.

'The Sky Trail is an American system which is designed for children. 'We wanted to make sure we had something for people of all ages.

'We have got a good customer base in Wymondham and Attleborough.

'It has been a long, hot summer for the UK and people don't always want to use the indoor play area,' Mr Gill said.

All children will be harnessed and those between one metre and 1.2 metres tall will need to be assisted by their parents.

Mr Gill, who worked in the poultry industry, started the business with his beautician wife, Tracey in February 2012.

The couple spotted a gap in the market following the closure of the Funtime Factory in Ayton Road, Wymondham, in October 2011.

The pair, who have a daughter, Emily, tired to buy the business but the deal fell through and they discovered the site in Suton.

'We wanted to work together and job share,' Mr Gill said. 'Business has been good for us, a big chunk of our work is birthday parties.'

They also have a laser blast zone which people can hire for parties.

Along with the new adventure course, Mr Gill said a car park extension was also in the pipeline to allow up to 60 cars.

The work is expected to cost around £100,000.

The Sky Trail will open on October 8. For more information visit www.hulabaloos.co.uk
