Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road accident on the A143 last night.
Emergency services were called to Pakenham, near Bury St Edmunds, at 3.37am where a car had left the road and caught fire.
The male driver, who has yet to be named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The A143 was closed until about 9.25am while an investigation into the crash got underway.
