GIRLGUIDING UK has challenged all its members to change the world.
First Wymondham Rangers (for young women aged 14 to 25) decided to raise money for CAMFED, an international organisation who work to eradicate poverty and to empower and educate young women in Africa.
Their aim was to raise 225 to send one girl through education. Through their hard work in selling quiz sheets, organising a Virgin Vie night and through a donation, they were able to raise 483 to go straight to the charity, enough to send two girls through education and some surplus.
