Work to maintain the pavement on a road near Diss could cause delays for drivers for a month.

The essential maintenance work to Shelfanger Road in Roydon will begin on January 30 and is set to take four weeks to complete.

Two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place on Shelfanger Road during the first three weeks of work.

A set of three-way temporary traffic lights will be in place for the final week of the work.

Pedestrian diversion routes will be accessible from the Louie’s Lane, Shelfanger Road junction at the northern end of the works.

A temporary footpath between Millway Avenue and Shelfanger Road at the southern end of the works will be in place.

Access to the public right of way bordering the Diss and District Athletics Club will also be maintained.

The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and its contractors.
