The candidates in a Norfolk County Council by-election, which was triggered by the tragic death of a serving councillor, have been confirmed.
The by-election for the West Depwade division, in south Norfolk, will be held next month.
The candidates include Prof Catherine Rowett, an ex-MEP for the East of England, standing for the Greens and Bev Spratt, the division's former Conservative county councillor, now running as an independent.
Former Wymondham mayor Tony Holden is standing for the Conservatives. Labour's candidate is Pam Reekie, while Ian Spratt, who represents Mulbarton and Stoke Holy Cross on South Norfolk Council, is running for the Liberal Democrats.
