The final Nights at the Museum event of 2023 takes place this Friday in south Norfolk and it will be a celebration of steam. 

After successful events in July and August, the Bressingham Steam Museum, near Diss, will stay open in the evening on September 8. 

Nights at the Museum runs from 4.30pm until 10.30pm with free entry and there will be live music from Axl Redwine at 7.30pm followed by The Gray Wolf Band at 8.30pm.

The bar will serve Grain Brewery beers and wines from Giffords Hall Vineyard and Flint Vineyard, plus a selection of other drinks.

The on-site café will be serving a street food-style menu, including loaded fries, chilli dogs and scampi and chips.

The sweet shop and ice cream hut will also be open on the night and you can ride on The Gallopers between 4.30pm to 7.30pm for a small charge.

The main museum will be open for visitors to explore, with the Burrell Steam Roller and Foster Traction Engine in steam for the evening.

Only assistance dogs are allowed on site and you can't bring in food and drink.
