Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the forest as the Aqua Sana spa in Elveden reopens after a huge £6.5million refurbishment. 

The luxury spa at Center Parcs in Suffolk has been shut since January 2023 for the revamp.

It is now split across five zones - Nordic Forest, Hot Springs, Volcanic Forest, Forest Immersion and Treetop Nesting - all inspired by the world’s most extraordinary natural environments.

The first Aqua Sana to receive the 'Forest Spa' redesign was Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire in 2016. 

There are 26 spa experiences at Elveden Forest and unique to this site are The Nest, Sole Therapy and Forest View.

The Nest is a unique sauna room with wooden loungers looking out on woodland, Sole Therapy is inspired by Japanese foot baths and in Forest View a screen slowly transitions through the four seasons.

Kay Pennington, Aqua Sana group spa manager, said: "We launched the Forest Spa concept after looking at wellness trends and we felt that we weren't quite tapping into our woodland locations.

"As well as three unique experiences, the Tree of Life Ritual face and body treatment is also exclusive to Elveden."

Vitalé Café Bar has also received a £1.2m investment to give it a complete redesign and there are Spa Suites for overnight stays and 19 treatment rooms.

Speaking about the price increase, she added: "Many spas just have one steam room, one sauna, a pool and some loungers, but we have a vast amount with 26 experiences so it offers good value when you stack that up." 

Aqua Sana Elveden Forest offers a range of spa days and packages (from £119pp) and spa breaks (from £345pp).

Guests on a Center Parcs short break can also enjoy spa sessions (from £65pp for three hours).
