Tails will be wagging with festive excitement as you can take your pooch to see Santa in Norwich this Christmas.

Santa’s Grotto for Dogs is returning outside The Forum in the city centre on December 10 from 11am to 3pm with no booking required.

Four-legged friends can pose with the famous ‘Santa Woof Woof’ and create some special Christmas ‘pawtraits’.

Entry is free and the event is in aid of the RSPCA and Pets as Therapy charities, with donations encouraged.

As well as the grotto, a Victorian carousel, which appeared in films such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, will be returning from December 15 until January 1.

It is one of the oldest surviving carousels in the country and it was built by Frederick Savage of King's Lynn in 1893.
