A new fishing shop looking to inspire the younger generation is opening in Diss.

The Tackle Lounge will launch on October 28 with a new store in Mere Street as well as an online shop.

The business, which was previously named Diss Angling Centre, closed its former store at the end of September after it was taken on by new owner Matthew Mountain.

"We want to inspire young anglers for generations to come.

Roughly 20,000 to 30,000 products will be available on the website as well as a large in-store showroom.

Mr Elvin added: "It's exciting to bring the shop back to the high street and we hope people will support us as a local business.

"It's going to be on a bigger scale with more variety, we're doing a full re-launch."
