A change has been announced to the Bressingham at Night 2023 programme after last Saturday's event was cancelled due to flooding.

The popular illuminated event takes place at Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens in south Norfolk, near Diss.

It allows visitors to experience the narrow gauge railways and Gallopers roundabout in a different light on select dates in November.

The event on November 18 had to be cancelled as parts of the Fen Railway and Waveney Railway had flooded, leaving only the Garden Line accessible.

An update has now been given for Bressingham at Night this Friday and Saturday, which will be going ahead on both days.

The statement said: "Due to the heavy rainfall over the past few weeks, part of the Waveney Railway continues to be flooded and we do not believe it will drain before the 24 and 25.

"Therefore we will only be running the Fen and Garden lines."

The Main Exhibition Hall will be open and the café will serve hot and cold refreshments.

Doors open at 4.30pm and the first trains depart at 5pm, with the last rides at 8.30pm.
