A Norfolk village could be set for expansion after a new planning application to build three homes there was submitted.
The applicants Gary Brian and Sharon Mary Friend hope to build the properties near Harvey Lane in Dickleburgh, near Diss.
The documents say that the "sustainable development", provides "economic, social, and environmental benefits" which "outweigh any potential adverse impacts".
But one resident, who has lived on Harvey Lane for 31 years, has objected to the plans which were submitted last week, over flooding concerns and traffic issues on the road.

The plans point out that a separate development of 22 homes on Poppy Grove has been built diagonally opposite the proposed site, suggesting there is no reason why the new scheme should not be approved.
But the objector to the plans blames the Poppy Grove development for flooding on Harvey Lane.
The applicant says the homes will be self-built and designed to "ensure a reasonable standard of amenity reflecting the character of the local area".
They also argue there will be a long-term economic gain for local services as a result of there being more homes in the village.
