A new acting headteacher has begun work at Diss High School following the suspension of Janet Hunt.
Earlier this month, letters were sent home with pupils explaining that Dr Hunt, who had led the school since 2008, had been suspended for an unspecified period pending an internal disciplinary investigation.
Details on why the action took place are still unknown, but the letter said concerns centred around 'management procedures' and not the quality of education provided.
Yesterday, Norfolk County Council announced it had appointed Cherry Crowley as the high school's new acting headteacher.
Mrs Crowley was most recently the headteacher at Flegg High School in Martham, near Great Yarmouth. She left the school in August 2009 having held the post for 10 years.
