For the Linnets have given a set of team shirts and shorts to Nicola Bobbins, daughter of the club's chairman Ken, who was due to set off for Ghana on Monday.
Nicola, 29, who lives in Dickleburgh, is travelling to the West African country to do volunteer work in orphanages and to teach with Norwich-based Original Volunteers.
'It's something I always wanted to do,' she said. 'I'm 30 in March and that might have had something to do with it.'
