A Norfolk branch of an international human rights charity is holding a free exhibition next month.

Amnesty International will be welcoming members of the public to learn about a notebook it has published which is filled with pictures and quotes and will be on display at the United Reformed Church in Diss on Saturday June 9 and Sunday June 10.

Focusing on ideas such as safety, home, family and more, the diverse collection of notes and quotes are attributed to the likes of Bob Marley, Malala Yousafzai and Mahatma Ghandi.

Illustrations include the work of Sir Quentin Blake, Chris Riddell and Meera Lee Patel.

Julie Sanders chair of the Diss Amnesty Group said: “We held a similar event last year which was well attended, and we want to encourage more people to attend this year, and to come and spend some time reflecting on the images and words on display.”

The exhibition runs from 10am to 3pm each day.
