Vandals have smashed panes in three stained glass windows at St Mary's Church at Attleborough. The damage was extensive, with about 40 panes of glass smashed in one window alone - much of it antique stained glass.

The damage was extensive, with about 40 panes of glass smashed in one window alone - much of it antique stained glass. A number of stones were found inside the church which had been thrown at the windows by the yobs.
Police are appealing for information about the incident between 9am on Monday, August 4 and 5pm the following day.
