Police discovered a cannabis farm in the aftermath of a blaze that swept through a unit on an industrial estate on the Norfolk Suffolk border.
A large quality of mature cannabis plants were seized by officers after they were called to the commercial premises near Eye.
Seven fire crews from Diss and Harleston in Norfolk and from across north Suffolk had been called to tackle the blaze that broke out on Liberator Way on Brome Industrial Estate at 1.20pm on Thursday, November 21.
No one was injured as a result of the blaze at the building, which measures 50m by 80m, but police were called in by the fire service to investigate the circumstances.
The first officers to arrive on scene discovered a large quality of cannabis plants being grown inside with pictures showing hydroponic grow lamps wired to the building's electrical supply.
Suffolk Police's East Scorpion drug team estimate the plants to have a street value of £60,000. No arrests have been made in relation to the find.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called shortly before 2pm by the fire service following reports of a fire at an industrial unit within Brome Industrial Estate near Eye.
"Officers attended and discovered an amount of cannabis plants and equipment within. Enquiries are ongoing."
The discovery is the latest cannabis farm uncovered hidden at commercial premises on the Norfolk Suffolk border.
Last year two illegal immigrants were each jailed for 20 months after a large cannabis factory was found in an industrial unit on the edge of the small village of Redgrave, near Diss.
Police found more than 800 cannabis plants, a large amount of hydroponics equipment and paraphernalia when they raided the premises after receiving information about suspicious activity.
Since its formation in 2015, the Scorpion team - split into east, south and west branches - has been prioritising a mass crackdown on drugs trafficking.
Other recent high profile hauls have included £200,000 worth of cannabis plants in Pakefield, near Lowestoft, and seizures of crack and cocaine.
