LONG-haired 11-year-old Izzy Mabbutt is having her prized locks chopped to help a good cause.

Izzy, from Harleston,

got the idea from a magazine, when she read about a woman with long hair giving it to a charity making wigs for people who had lost their hair after chemotherapy.

She was so touched that she sought out a UK-based charity, The Little Princess Trust, that makes wigs for boys and girls affected by hair loss after cancer or leukaemia treatment.

She then asked her mother if she could donate her own hair and raise money in sponsorship at the same time, to be divided between the Little Princess Trust and Cancer Research UK.

Izzy is having her hair cut by Robert Mack at his salon

in Harleston next Wednesday.

It will take place at 5.15pm at Roberts for Hair in Station Road.

To sponsor Izzy contact Harleston Information Plus, Roberts for Hair or the

Swan Hotel, or email younglouisa@supanet.com
