Travellers on the A140 experienced severe delays on Wednesday morning.
A broken down lorry just before the A143 roundabout near Scole on the Norfolk and Suffolk border had been causing jams heading north bound, with driver reporting traffic at a stand still late in the morning.
Further north the A140 north bound near Long Stratton had also seen delays due to road works.
