Garden lovers will be able to visit a whole range of gardens on June 3 and 4 when Harleston's Future and Harleston Garden Club hosts its Open Gardens 2017.

Over 600 visitors came to last year's event from Norfolk and Suffolk as well as other parts of the country and the organisers are expecting a bumper crop again this year.

Gardens include a naturally wooded town centre site, established grounds, cottage gardens and communal gardens at an over 55's housing complex and the town's library.

There will be a vintage shuttle bus and a trail map purchased with the weekend ticket will show which gardens are most accessible for wheelchair or pram users.

Weekend tickets £3 per person or £5 for two adults or family group can be purchased from the Apiary Cake and Coffee House, 3 The Thoroughfare, or at the Swan Hotel. For more information ring 01379 853132.
