Three chainsaws were among items stolen when a shed and garage were targeted by burglars in the village of Wortham, near Diss.
A shed at a home in Bury Road was broken into by cutting the padlock off between 10pm on Monday, May 13 and 5am on Tuesday, May 14. Two saws, a strimmer and a leaf blower were also stolen as well as the three large chain saws.
A garage located further along Bury Road was also broken into after a padlock was cut off sometime between 7pm on Monday, May 13 and 5.55am the following morning. Petrol cans were moved, two cans of petrol were stolen and the contents of another petrol can was emptied in the garden.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about either break-in to complete an online report update via the force website suffolk.police.uk quoting crime reference CAD 32 of 14/5/19. Alternatively, use the non-emergency telephone number 101.
