A popular fundraising day, which last year generated more than £4,000 for charity is set to return for a second year with organisers promising it will be the biggest and best event yet.
On Sunday, May 6, The Burston Crown, near Diss will once again hold its Beers, Bikes and Bands event.
Building on the success of last year's event which raised a total of £4,500 for charity, the one day fundraising extravaganza will this year will be in aid of the children's mental health and wellbeing organisation Nature, Nurture.
Working to build vulnerable children's resilience, the charity provides outdoor experiences and the training to help children with the skills they need to live healthy life styles.
Hoping to attract bikers from across the county and further afield who will be invited to show off their motorcycles in the pub's carpark, the Beers Bikes and Bands is part bike rally, part beer festival and part auction.
Behind the bar will be a number of craft beers including one brewed especially for the event, by Bury St Edmund's brewery Bartram's Brewery.
Music will be provided by bands The Last Drop and Eva Black whilst the auction will feature a number of prizes donated by local business including the grand prize of a weeks stay in an eight bedroom Suffolk Farm House.
Bev Kembery, owner of the Burston Crown said: 'We're very much looking forward to the event, it's going to be the sunniest day.
'Last year we raised £4,500 and this year we're going to completely smash that. The event was such a success, the biker community was one that we hadn't reached out to before and they were lovely to have about.'
Geoff Dixon, one of the event organises said: 'We hope that the sun shines, and that lots of people come and a have a great time.
'But importantly it's about raising a significant amount of money for a incredibly important charity, unfortunately mental health charity's have faced funding cuts and it's our job to raise more.'
Food in the form of a BBQ will be on offer throughout the event which will start at 12pm.
