A former North Norfolk councillor stepped up her quest for a parliamentary seat in South Norfolk at the weekend as she began a tour of the district in a caravan.
A former North Norfolk councillor stepped up her quest for a parliamentary seat in South Norfolk at the weekend as she began a tour of the district in a caravan.
Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate Jacky Howe said it was 'time for change' as she aims to oust Tory MP Richard Bacon from his seat at the general election.
The former North Norfolk District Councillor and county councillor began her 'Ask Howe' roadshow at Diss on Saturday , which will see her touring caravan visit the main market towns and villages in the constituency over the next few months.
The 63-year-old, who currently lives in Melton Constable, near Holt, has also pledged to move to south Norfolk regardless of the outcome of the general election.

The widowed mother-of-two said she would be campaigning for improvements to home care for vulnerable people and lobbying for green energy sources, but 'not wind farms.'
She has also called on the constituency's Labour supporters to 'tactically vote' for the Liberal Democrats in order to overturn the Conservative majority in South Norfolk.

'Richard Bacon has not put a foot wrong with expenses. He is a good parliamentarian, but since my selection in July I have been talking to people in the constituency and he is not very present for ordinary people. I do not think he has been a bad MP, but I think it is time for change,' she said.
