Cockerels stolen from village

Three cockerels have been stolen in separate thefts from a chicken run in a north Suffolk field.

A Rhode Island red cockerel and an Orpington buff cockerel were taken from The Common, Botesdale, near Diss, last Wednesday between 9am and midday.

A Rhode Island red cockerel and an Orpington buff cockerel were taken from The Common, Botesdale, last Wednesday between 9am and midday.

A second Rhode Island red cockerel was stolen on Saturday between 8am and 8pm.

Anyone with information regarding the thefts should call Sgt Jon Eaves at the Mid Suffolk North Safer Neighbourhood Team on 01284 774100 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
