A seven-year-old budding artist will have some of her drawings for sale for a small fee at tomorrow's country market at Banham.

Connie Peel, who goes to Kenninghall Primary School, has been wanting to help her mum at the market for months - and this week her wish has come true.

Connie has always been interested in drawing and has a keen eye for detail, and will also be offering her skills to draw portraits of visitors for just 30p!

Mum Jill said: “I have to admire her entrepreneurial skills - she has been pestering me for some time to share my stained-glass stall with her.

“She has been busy sketching pictures of famous people such as Churchill, Tony Blair and Mica so I thought, I already have the table booked, what have we got to lose? She'll be over the moon if she manages to sell more than me!”

Connie says the proceeds will go towards her next set of colouring pencils.

The market runs from 9am to 1pm at Banham community centre, near Diss.
