Crews called to chicken shed fire near Quidenham

Fire crews from seven stations were called to a fire at a derelict chicken shed at Overy Farm near Quidenham last night.

Officers from East Harling, Attleborough, Hethersett, Thetford, Diss, Wymondham and Sprowston were called to the fire at 9.

Fire crews from seven stations were called to a fire at a derelict chicken shed at Overy Farm near Quidenham last night.

Officers from East Harling, Attleborough, Hethersett, Thetford, Diss, Wymondham and Sprowston were called to the fire at 9.13 in the evening.

The fire began to spread to adjacent sheds and crews were using two hoses to put it out.

It was confirmed that one of the buildings contained asbestos.
