An Attleborough dance teacher whose mother died from cancer will be raising money on Saturday to help other victims.
Sandra Boatman and her business partner John Scallan, who also lost his 43-year-old daughter Julia to the disease, will be holding a dance workshop in Norwich.
'Between us we decided that we would like to do something special to raise money for Cancer Research and Priscilla Bacon Lodge in their memory,' she explained.
'That event is Dance in A Day, where we will teach people how to waltz (properly) in a 5 hour workshop costing 15.00. It's being held at the Wild Stallion 193 Plumstead Road Norwich on 4th April from 10am till 3pm, the day after Julia's birthday and two days before the anniversary of my mum's death. So the date is special to both of us.
'People do not need to book in, they don't need a partner, they need to bring their own refreshments but tea and coffee will be available.'
