A 27-year-old man from Diss has been charged with dangerous driving after being arrested hiding under a children’s bed.

The man, who has also been charged with failing to stop for police and having no insurance, is due to appear at court on July 27.

His arrest is in connection to a VW Bettle car that failed to stop for police in Diss on Saturday night.

Inspector Jason Selvarajah tweeted: “An early door knock resulted in the driver suspected of being responsible being found hiding under a child’s bed.”
