A south Norfolk cleric will be launching her new children's book at a Christmas tree festival in her parish.
The Rev Canon Janice Scott, rector of Dickleburgh and The Pulhams, will be signing copies of 'Children's Stories from The Village Shepherd' during the 50 Christmas Trees event at Dickleburgh Church, which runs from Sunday until December 7.
The stories take the reader on a journey through the worlds of talking animals, imaginative characters, pixies and goblins, and everyday life, learning important lessons on faith, love, family and God. Every tale is linked to a passage from The Bible, helping readers search beneath the surface of the story and apply its wisdom to their daily lives.
Children's Stories from The Village Shepherd, price £9.99, is published by CSS Publishing Company, USA www.csspub.com. The Rev Scott has been writing for the CSS website for a number of years as 'The Village Shepherd'.
A percentage of sales will be donated to the festival which is raising money for East Anglian Children's Hospice (EACH), St Martin's Housing Trust, Norwich and the parish churches of Dickleburgh, Pulham Market, Pulham St Mary, Rushall, Starston, Thelveton, Shimpling and Frenze.
Admission is adult £3.50, senior citizens and concessions £3, pre-booked groups £2.75, children free.
