An opticians has teamed up with some of its customers to support a charity duck race in aid of the children's charity Break.
On Sunday, August 26, dozens of colourfully decorated rubber ducks will take to water on the River Wensum in Norwich as part of The Grand Norwich Duck Race 2018. An annual event, last year the race raised £15,000 for the Norfolk based charity Break, which provides short breaks for children and young people with special needs.
Now, with the help of two of its customers, Elizabeth Wilkinson and Jane Woolston the Norfolk opticians Dipple & Conway have put their support behind the race, meaning the total number of ducks taking part will reach 100.
Martin Green, fundraising manager Break said: 'It is a huge pleasure to have Dipple & Conway backing us this year. They have been fantastic supporters of Break over many years and have been an absolute pleasure to work with,'
