Plans for a storage container park on the road between Diss and Palgrave have been refused because of concerns over traffic safety.
The proposals would have seen 55 containers sited on land next to the railway bridge on Lower Rose Lane, which would have been rented out on an individual basis for storage.

Similar plans were refused by Mid Suffolk Council in April on highway safety grounds because of visibility at the proposed access on the 60mph road.
A new application with a different access point design was again opposed by Palgrave Parish Council which argued: "We have speed data evidence that clearly shows drivers exceed this along the outer extremities of this road on both the east and west approaches.
"This distance takes the visibility requirement to beyond the bridge after which you cannot see, therefore not fulfilling the distance requirement."
Planners rejected the application stating: "The proposed vehicular access does not provide safe highway visibility, in accordance with current standards."
