Three teenagers have been arrested following a violent disturbance in Diss remain under investigation despite being released by police.

The boys, two aged 15 and one aged 16, arrested on suspicion of affray and held for questioning after the incident in Mere Street on February 19.

Officers were called shortly after 5pm to reports that a number of youths were involved in a fight. An 18-year-old man suffered injuries to his knee and wrist.

Police say the three arrested have been released pending further enquiries but are still under investigation.

The disturbance saw a large number of youths remain in the area following the incident which led police to implementing a Section 34 Order, giving officers the power to direct people to leave an area to prevent anti-social behaviour.
