The owners of a former burial ground in Diss have resubmitted plans to build a house on the site.
Andy Robinson, who bought the plot on Croft Lane from Diss Baptist Church more than five years ago, submitted plans for a two-bedroom bungalow, along with a garage and "a chapel-style entrance port" to reflect its former use, in April.
That application was withdrawn in October after South Norfolk Council planning officers highlighted trees, surface water drainage and archaeology as key issues that could prevent it being approved.
Now a fresh planning application has been submitted with archaeological survey details.
MORE: Landowner behind plans to build home on graveyard insists no burials will be harmedThe land, believed to be associated with a now-demolished chapel, was sold by Diss Baptist Church with planning permission to build on the site but that subsequently expired.
Mr Robinson has insisted none of the bodies buried in the site will be disturbed by the works, should permission be granted.
