Motorists are facing more disruption in a South Norfolk town with resurfacing at a busy crossroads, just weeks after work on the same road caused lengthy tailbacks.

Work is set to take place to resurface carriageway on the junction of Shelfanger Road, Denmark Street and Roydon Road in Diss

Shelfanger Road/Denmark Street (B1077) and the junction of Roydon Road will be closed to traffic during the £25,000 work that will take place on either May 19 or May 26.

The road closures will be for 24 hours from 6am on Sunday to 6am on Monday. Diversion routes will be signed and access to properties and businesses within the works will be maintained.

It comes just weeks after five-way traffic lights for footpath reconstruction work at the mini-roundabout at the junction of Denmark Street and Park Road left motorists facing delays.
