A shortfall in elected councillors has left a town council looking to co-opt seven additional volunteers to make up its number.
South Norfolk's boundary review means that Diss Town Council now has 14 councillor positions to fill.
Seven were elected unopposed at the recent local elections, but with five existing councillors having stood down there is a shortfall.
Those elected were Sonia Browne, Neil Howard, Adrian Kitchen, Julian Mason, Simon Olander, John Robertson and Eric Taylor.
A council spokeswoman said: "We are encouraging those who are passionate about their community to fill the remaining seven seats. The role of a local councillor is to decide how existing local services are delivered and consider potential new projects.
