A community church has submitted plans to convert high street offices in Diss into a town centre prayer base and information centre.
The Diss Christian Community Church, which runs the DC3 Centre in the town's industrial area, off Vinces Road, is looking to open a facility in a more central location.
Church officials have submitted proposals to South Norfolk Council to convert first floor offices at 7 and 8 Mere Street from B1 to D1 use.
If approved, the site would be used for one to one counselling and as a prayer base and information centre for the town's church based activities.
The centre would be operated between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Residents have until August 4 to air their views on the plans.
