An educational foundation is offering Diss pupils grants to help make their career dreams become a reality.

The Taylor & Hammond Educational Foundation distributes funds to young people going on to further, higher or vocational education who have attended Diss High School.

The fund is designed to support not only those embarking on higher education but those taking up apprenticeships or other learning courses.

Young people under the age of 25 can apply for a grant towards everything from travel expenses to Duke of Edinburgh Award costs, books, equipment, apprenticeship expenses, certificates and any other educational expense.

Some previous recipients have broadened their experiences on educational trips overseas including to the Dominican Republic and Kenya.

The closing date for the current funding opportunity is April 5. Application forms can be downloaded from the foundation website.
