A group of young volunteer film-makers from Eye have won a national award. The group, all aged between 16 and 25 years, are from the Eye Arts Club gained the accolade for producing a film that promotes greater understanding and communication between younger and older people.

The group, all aged between 16 and 25 years, are from the Eye Arts Club gained the accolade for producing a film that promotes greater understanding and communication between younger and older people.
The prize, for best camerawork, was awarded through their participation in the nationwide BOOM! volunteering and film-making project. More than 3,500 youth clubs across the country have taken part.
BOOM! is a partnership project involving Clubs for Young People, the youth volunteering charity 'v', MTV and youth engagement agency TomTom nation. Apple provides all participants with free film-editing hardware and software, and training support.
